LIVE PAINTING NZ SPIRIT FEST 2021 | Auckland
This was my first live painting experience in New Zealand! Intended as a collaboration, two other artists pulled out and I ended up with a huge plywood canvas at the main entrance, waiting to be filled. I tapped into the festival’s energy and asked what was needed. Forth came the Sri Yantra with a vulnerable vagina in the centre, the embodiment of the Feminine. “How does this make you feel?” invited the audience to participate. An interactive piece was born, bringing forth much of the conversation around the masculine, the feminine, our interactions with each other, sexuality, hurt and healing. I shared many heart-felt moments with the audience in front of the painting. It was also the first time I used my light language publicly.
